The mission of Zeneith Performing Arts is to cultivate a diverse performing arts community that challenges students to excel in technique and artistic skill, grow in faith and self-discipline and experience dynamic performance opportunities.
FOUNDERS

Nyiki Swain
Nyiki Swain is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She has studied under Paul & Arlene Kennedy at Universal Dance Designs. With over 25 years of experience in the industry she is currently wrapping up her pursuit of her Dance Degree. She has traveled to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Scotland, Barbados, & Trinidad as well as all over the US. She is a co-founder of Zeneith Perorming Arts and is the current Artistic Director. She has performed at the 2004 & 2007 BET Awards with Mo”Nique, the Ludacris “Get Back” music video, and also danced for Season 1 & 2 of Monique’s Fat Chance. She has worked with Pharrell Williams choreographing for His multi platinum song “Happy” for performances on Jimmy Kimmel, The Queen Latifah Show, Ellen, and Oscars Pre Shows Nomination party.

Janette Watson
Janette Watson / Janette…ikz (pronounced genetics) is a poet, musician, theatre arts instructor, dance instructor, and co-founder of Zeneith Performing Arts. She has been performing and teaching for over 20 years. Her single Youtube video “I Will Wait For You” currently has close to 3 million views, while her sequel piece “I Waited For You” has nearly 14 million views. Her influence has allowed her to be featured on the cover of Testify Sister magazine, Spoken Vizions magazine, and Empowered magazine. Her presence remains in high demand and has granted her access to appearances on the 700 Club, BET, and TBN. She has performed and assisted in choreography for Pharell’s “Happy” live performances on “The Queen Latifah Show, Ellen, & Jimmy Kimmel. She has widely performed both nationally and internationally and also had the opportunity of performing along side International personalities including Chris Tomlin, Toby Mac, Francis Chan, Lecrae, Donnie McClurkin, Kierra Sheard, Yolonda Adams and Kirk Franklin and more. Although given the opportunity to perform Janette has a huge heart for inner-city youth, she has had the opportunity of teaching for Compton, Long Beach, Lynwood, and Los Angeles Unified School Districts.
